One of the most anticipated activities in the Palarong Pampook is the Governor’s Night.

This year it was held at the Provincial Cultural and Farmers’ Training Center, Oroquieta City.

In attendance were the local government officials headed by Hon. Herminia M. Ramiro – Provincial Governor of Misamis Occidental and the 14 Superintendents of the fourteen participating Divisions who were dressed in their cocktail attire complementing the ambiance of the venue.

The highlights of the occasion were the introduction of 14 candidates vying for the title Bb. Palarong Pampook 2015, the amazing performance of Mr. Richard Poon and the giving of tokens by the Provincial Governor to the Schools Division Superintendents of the different delegations.

Another awaited part was the raffle draw wherein the Division of Malaybalay City brought home a refrigerator, the major prize won by Superintendent Edilberto L. Oplenaria, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent and four minor prize winners.

It was indeed a very fantastic experience being able to witness the activities as part of the celebration of the Palarong Pampook 2015.

As a first timer, of this annual and much esteemed Palarong Pampook, dubbed by this year’s host province as “Salabok sa MisOcc”, I say, it was truly a pleasure and a privilege to see this spectacular event.
