DepEd Basic Educational Facilities Fund School Building Projects

The Department of Education have been capable in responding the classroom shortages in every schools here in Division of Malaybalay City. Since accurate and comprehensive CY 2011, BEFF (Basic Educational Facilities Funds) are being utilized to address the classroom, water and sanitation facilities, and furniture shortages based on Basic Education Information System (BEIS).The School Building Projects under BEFF are remarkably constructed as a complete and in standard design structures.

In the CY 2014 the DepEd has its goal to establish an accurate and comprehensive data collection on school buildings through the National Inventory of DepEd Public School Buildings SY 2014-2015.  Thus, this will be drawn as a basis in preparation of the priority lists of schools.

Currently, the DepEd School Building Projects are structures that are disaster resistant buildings and are now under DPWH implementations while School Heads are assisted by the Division Physical Facilities Coordinator and the DepEd Project Engineer during completion and turnover of the said buildings.
