Everybody has a different personality, and how others react to your personality can cause conflict, either verbally, physically, or emotionally. In some instances, a person’s personality is simply not compatible with the organization as a whole. In other instances, a person’s personality simply conflicts with that of team members. Education in the New Normal

The COVID19 crisis has taken a toll on the lives of the many.  Basic education is one sector that is heavily affected as schools are not allowed momentarily to hold classes onsite to protect the health, safety and well-being of the learners, teachers and school personnel.  However, education is vital to success. Then, I go with the battlecry of the Department of Education that “learning must continue”.

Mindfulness of Government Spending in Times of Pandemic

The emergence of COVID-19 in the past four months causes a rapid change in government spending. The government budget dramatically change to prioritize the measures needed to mitigate the further spread of the virus.  The implementation of various types of community quarantine throughout the country pushed the government to reinvent its budget focusing the most important concerns. According to the government’s economic team, the government has prepared a ₱27.1-billion spending plan for everyone affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Upon the direction of President Duterte, the government provides the targeted and direct programs to guarantee that benefits will go to our workers and other affected sectors. The government had enough but limited resources, so the duty of every government agency and employee is to make sure that the funds for programs mitigating the adverse effects of COVID-19 on our economy as stated by Department of Finance (DOF) Secretary Carlos Dominguez III. Over the years the trend on accrediting offices both in public and private for Quality Management Systems (QMS) is increasing. A quality management system (QMS) is defined as a formalized system that documents processes, procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality policies and objectives. A Quality Management Systems (QMS) helps coordinate and direct an organization’s activities to meet customer and regulatory requirements and improve its effectiveness and efficiency on a continuous basis. Since public service is a thrust, positions held in the government is a public liability.  The civil servants are accountable for their direct actions, views and decisions to the general public that they are serving. That is the reason why holding position in a public office should be done in all fidelity, passion and calling to achieve quality, efficiency and efficacy.
