The Brigada Eskwela is the present-day portrayal of our well-known Bayanihan spirit – the long time tradition of volunteerism we Filipinos value most. It’s a nationwide campaign of public schools with the consent and guidance of the Department of Education (DepED) to initiate the voluntary convergence of acquired resources, efforts of teachers, cooperation of parents and students, support of community officials and non-government organizations. All voluntary stakeholders convene together to conduct minor repair and clean up in their respective schools for at least two weeks before the start of the in-coming school year. A few years ago, all expenses in the school were purchased and paid for by the Division offices. Across the country, the division offices pay for the electricity and water bills of every single school. Canvassing, purchasing and delivery of supplies are not at one time assigned to school administrators.
Ang Daang Matuwid is one of the most emphasized mottos during the election campaign that President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino used to persuade the people as platform for his administration. But in order to walk through the right path, financial stability should first be achieved. Just like in any organization and even the smallest unit of society which is the family, the proper use of the coffers would be able to help the government achieve its goals.
Hulyo 27, 2015 ika 9:00 ng umaga nakatanggap ng donasyon ang DepEd Malaybalay ng Sports Equipment mula sa Bukidnon Government Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BUGEMCO). Ang nasabing equipment ay tig- isang set na bola at net ng larong volleyball. Ipinamigay ito sa pamamagitan ng ating Tagapamanihala ng Paaralan Edilberto L. Oplenaria, CESO VI sa Mini Bulwagan ng DepEd Malaybalay Purok 6, Casisang, Malaybalay kasama ang mga EPS, PSDS, Prinsipal at ibang personel ng Dep Ed.
