“Education must continue.” – Sec. Leonor M. Briones

COVID-19 brought so much attention to the world’s scenarios transforming every aspect into NEW NORMAL. However, education services in spite of the shifts in the conduct and implementation of activities, events, procedures and programs still managed to cope up with the demand of the system. Making use of the “LAG TIME” is so visible among DepEd Personnel that even in the delivery of learning is possible amidst this pandemic.

Modular Distance Learning (MDL) is found the most appropriate alternative delivery mode blended with Radio-Based Instruction, few schools for Online Classes and an option for TV Based Instruction for Malaybalay City Division. At its BEST, MCD initiated Division Programs for these modes of learning delivery.

Dry Run on how to come up a successful implementation of MDL was well participated by twenty (20) schools and now in   its second round for the remaining fifty-eight (58) Elementary and Secondary Schools. Division Initiated Radio-Based Instruction is also well established with two hundred eight

(208) locally recorded audio episodes ready for airing in available Radio Stations in the locality to cater all learners in all grade levels and in five (5) core learning areas.

MCD is assuring that in implementing these modalities, health and safety among learners and teachers remain the utmost consideration.

Yes! We are READY for the BATTLE!
