new teachers pledge commitmentThe 54 newly hired teachers of the Division of Malaybalay City took their solemn Oath of Office with Dr. Nayra right after they were challenged by Schools Division Superintendent Oplenaria to do their responsibilities as teachers and help the Division shine.

To ensure their readiness, the Superintendent led the Induction of New Teachers at Roberto’s Place, Casisang, Malaybalay City, July 28-29.

All EPS and Unit Heads were the discussants of the following topics during the orientation: 1] How to accomplish the different school forms by Science EPS Analy Ocier; 2] Lesson Planning 3]  the use of e-Class Record  by LRMDS- EPS Purisima Yap ; 4] Classroom Assessment as embodied  in DepEd Order No. 8, s. 2015 by Math EPS Bentillo; 5] teaching strategies ; 6] Classroom Structuring & 7] Heraldic Code by MAPEH EPS Lou Ann Cultura; ; 8] Special Programs by TLE EPS Luis Alajar ; 9] Dress Code by English EPS Rachel Valde 10] Application for Leave of Absence (Form 6) by Records Unit Head Florabelle Porras; 11] Position Description Form (PDF) by Guia Ma. Gamutin; 12] Salary Claims by Accountant  Rhysa Cyle Rosalejos 13] Code of Ethics by AP EPS Jasmin Adriatico 14] Grievance Machinery by AO/Dr. Jutchel Nayra; 15] Administrative Offenses/ Sexual Harassment/ and Child Protection Policy by Legal Officer/AttyOphelia Pilar Rubio Zamora.

After the foregoing topics were discussed, the newly hired teachers were given time to organize themselves. The organization’s elected president is Lyndon I. Maglipong, an elementary school teacher. The other officers are: Dindo M. Gabales- Vice-President; Niza Nancy Y. Saluntao- Secretary; Daffodel A. Molina – Trasurer; Juvelyn P. Ragmac, Kristel M. Lorenzo, and Ariane May N. Gamil -PIO; Clarence Mark Gonzales- Auditor; Aiza S. Taghoy, Nelita J. Genosa, and Rynchel G. Euldan- Social Managers.

The new teachers said that they are happy that the orientation was conducted for them because they gained a lot from the topics discussed besides they got to meet the superintendent and other Division Office staff. Equipped with the indispensable and vital knowledge, which are anchored on the Department of Education’s Mission and Vision, the teachers are geared to discharge their functions in their assigned stations.
