The Department of Education–Malaybalay City Division conducted an orientation spearheaded by Planning Officer II and Division ICT Coordinator, Paul John P. Arias on November 18 at Bukidnon National High School, Brgy. 03, Malaybalay City.

The said activity is aimed to address issues regarding the completion of inventories to be submitted on or before December 12 and provide assistance to school heads, school property custodian or the physical facilities coordinator, and the PTA President or the Kagawad in charge of education in completing the inventories of DepEd public school buildings for school year (SY) 2014-2015.

The event kicked off with an invocation followed by the singing of the national anthem. The participants were acknowledged by Lucilyn M. Cahucom, Administrative Aide of DepEd-LGU who also gave the opening remarks. Mr. Ralph T. Quirog, Chief of Governance and Operations Division and EPS in Social Studies, also gave his message. The purpose of the activity was further elaborated by Mr. Paul Arias.

To clarify issues regarding room assignments, a comprehensive open forum was held. Some of the questions raised during the forum were about the ‘main gates’, condition of buildings and identifying the types of buildings in their respective campuses.

The Malaybalay City Division is thankful for everyone’s cooperation which made the event a success and is hoping for accurate submission of data.
