The numerical rating scale of 2.3 gave rise to Linabo Central School (LCS) faculty and staff to exuberate after the Regional Validation Team headed by Regional EPS in Social Studies and Regional SBM Coordinator, Mr. Rogelio C. Evangelista, carefully, meticulously and punctiliously scrutinized the documents of the school’s School Based Management practices, November 6, 2013.

The team validated the school’s Performance Improvement which showed increase in enrolment, less than 2% dropout rate, average increase of completion rate, and at least 2% increase of NAT MPS. Principles in Leadership and Governance, Curriculum and Learning, Accountability and Continuous Improvement and Management of Resources were presented and defended by (Mrs.) Imelda S. Bentillo, (Mrs.) Prescilla C. Dauz, (Mrs.) Mary Ann D. Benigay and (Mrs.) Mercita N. Balite, respectively.

“The campus is very impressive, perfectly very beautiful, very wide and very clean,” Sir Evangelista said. “But should also focus on critical areas such as the Cohort Survival Rate and NAT. Interventions should have a story-line and that the impact of the practice that contributed to the improvement should be developed and balanced,” he added.

Self-Learning Module was highly suggested by some of the evaluators for pupils considered as child-laborers to cope up with the lessons, for them not to drop.

Composition of the Validation Team were Mr. Rogelio C. Evangelista, Ms. Angelina B. Buaron, Regional EPS in English and Ms. Mala Epra B. Magnaong. Regional EPS in English and Journalism Coordinator.

The School’s SGC President – Pastor Edil T. Murriera, GPTA President – Mr.Eduardo D. Baconguis,  Brgy. Council Education Committee Chair – Mr. Edgardo Hernando, Division EPS in Social Studies and Division SBM Coordinator-Mr. Ralph T. Quirog,  Division EPS In Science and  Malaybalay City East District Steward – Ms. Analy L. Ocier and Malaybalay City East District Supervisor – Mr. Aurelio A. Tilanduca, were also present during the validation.
