It was indeed a very significant learning to all coaches and chaperons on the sports medicine, conditioning and sports nutrition held at Roberto’s Place, Casisang, Malaybalay City last November 5, 2014.
The said division seminar was attended by one hundred fifteen (115) teachers and non-teaching personnel. The rationale of the seminar was to track down the progress of athletes by keeping them on the right track with the right amount of food required in the training. Prevention and treatment of athletes in terms of injuries and health problems is also tackled.
A regional live-out Seminar Workshop on Creative Research for Special Program in the Arts for secondary schools was hosted by Bukidnon National High School, Malaybalay City on January 29 – 30.
A total of 81 participants composed of SPA teachers, SPA School Coordinators, Administrators and Division Coordinators from the 12 divisions in Region X implementing Special Program in the Arts (SPA) attended the two-day seminar workshop which was facilitated by Dr. Raymund S. Antolo, ES II and Dr. Joy Mangubat , EPS II of Region X with Mrs. Lou Ann J. Cultura, EPS I- MAPEH in coordination with Bukinon National High School, Mr. Pariso L. Orong, the principal of Bukidnon National High School and Mr. Edilberto L. Oplenaria, Schools Division Superintendent of the Division of Malaybalay City.
Dr. Ma. Fe Sumaculob, Division Music and SPA Coordinator of Iloilo City Division and Dr. Ma. Cecilia Alimen, Associate Professor of the University of San Agustin, Iloilo City deliberated the procedure, requirements and standard of creative research while Dr. Lincoln V. Tan, Chairperson of Performing Arts of Bukidnon State University, exhibited his original researches of dance steps and music.
