Division of Malaybalay City Holds 2014 DLTSSG

dltssgThe Division of Malaybalay City holds the 2014 Division Leadership Training for the Supreme Student Government Officers (DLTSSG), with the theme: Student Government for Academic Excellence and good governance”.  This training was initiated through the efforts of the Division federation of the Supreme Student Officers and Advisers in supervision of the Division EPS in Social Studies Mr. Ralph T. Quirog. The training was also made possible in cooperation with the City Government of Malaybalay who subsidized the food and the training venue as their counterpart in order to maximize the attendance of the student leaders.

Division Enhancement Training for Teachers Teaching Basic Economics Commences with Expected Output

ap teachersThirty (30) Economics teachers in the public and private Secondary Schools in this Division hurdled the two (2) days enhancement training in teaching Basic Economics last November 23-24, 2013 at the Bukidnon National High School Physics room.

The said training was conceptualized by the EPS in Social Studies, Ralph T. Quirog with the approval of the Schools Division Superintendent of the Division of Malaybalay City Edilberto L. Oplenaria with the end in view that the Economics teachers teaching strategies and instructional materials will be enhanced to increase students’ academic achievement in the National Achievement Test (NAT).

The resource speakers who shared their expertise were Rosie A. Salupado, Division Testing Coordinator who talked on a comparative analysis of NAT Result for the past three (3) years based on the 20 competencies of Araling Panlipunan IV.  Susan Luz of Bangcud National High School, Elsa Roa of Managok NHS, Ma. Lourdes V. Ando and Belinda C. del Rosario of Bukidnon NHS focused on the topics that attention for improvement. Series of workshop was given to the participants which was shared and discussed by the group highlighted the training added with the Demo teaching   of Ms. Luz made the training fruitful and successful.
